We have tried to solve the mystery of the truffle for more than 2000 years. The ancient Greeks believed that thunder and lightning produce these valuable culinary fungi. Today we know that truffles proliferate via spores like all fungi. In DAMORO, our chef Giuseppe Marancone creates tasty dishes with rich truffles from Piedmont and France, and of course, we also recommend the best wines to our guests.

Intensely fragrant wines are suitable for truffles, like mature Merlot, Pinot Noir, Nebbiolo and Syrah. For pasta with white truffle, the best Nebbiolo wines like Barolo and Barbaresco should be served.
